wow.... i read this email and im still in shock.. i can hardly believe that happend. wow. im glad that they are ok. i pray your guys safety every night. especially tyler. That just goes to show that the Lord answers prayers.
well this week was long, just because there was a ton of traveling and waiting. on tuesday, we went to our zone meeting. then after that we went straight to tacloban. we got there super late so we went to the mission office and hung out with the office elders. we went to dinner after that. we ate Mcdonalds!! it was sooo dang good!!!! ha well then we went to their appt. and slept. then in the morning,
so last week was pretty much that. we had some less actives come to church but as far as investigators, go, zero. the other night, saturday, there was a bagio. a biiig ole storm. lots and lots of rain. we were soaked!!! my shoes still arent dry. ha.
Mom, im grateful to the lord that He protected tyler and his friends. im also greatful that you are my mom. i love you. :) i know that because of your and dads obedience to Gods commandments, tyler was saved. i know that God will bless you even more as you continue to put your faith and trust in him. everyday im amazed at his power. i know that he is capable of anything.

Tyler, i hope you realize what happened.The Lord saved you because he loves you, and you have a great purpose here on earth. i hope that you can put yourself aside and turn to him. i know that with His help you can do anything. i want to encourage you to read your scriptures. to pray and to continue to live as Jesus and our Heavenly father want you to live. Remember that life is a precious gift that can be gone in just a second. use it to the fullest. try to be a little better everyday. Get excited for conference. and try to start new with all the amazing councils that your going to hear. I love you buddy and i want the best for you. Im sorry we never got to grow together spiritually. i really regret that now. i hope you will forgive me. Give YOUR BEST to the Lord, and he will give HIS BEST to you. I hope you take this letter serious cuz i am speaking from my heart. Right now im trying my best to do all i can for him. even though it is extremly hard, and i still am not perfect, i know that my all is good enough for the lord. From the council of the prophets: Try a little harder, to be a little better. Look for my letters bud.

His letter to Tyler was so wonderful...I teared up reading it. He sounds so wise and grown up in his council to his little brother. I hope he also knows that Tyler and his friends were also saved in part because of the dedication he is giving to the Lord...that what he is doing out there has purpose and consequences - the good kind!

I agree, Ty, Jenna and the rest of the friends were saved because of your faithfulness, prayers and dedication to the Lord - as well as the steadfastness of your family and the other families involved. Thank you Christian. I know your prayers helped preserve not only Ty's life, but Jenna's life as well. It has been a humbling and faith-building experience. We know the Lord has his hand in the small and large details of our life. They (Ty, Jenna and friends) have a great work to do. You are doing just that - with much more to come!
